Reason Shall Prevail
DRAFT, LOTTERY & RULE CHANGES
The yearly draft will be held THE SUNDAY BEFORE the NFL Regular Season starts at Twin Peaks - Arapahoe & i25 (2:00pm). The draft will be held online so you'll need to bring a laptop (or make suer your phone can handle it). If you can't make the live draft, make sure to be online 20 minutes before the draft to make sure everything is working correctly.
The Lottery will take place THE SUNDAY BEFORE (one week before) the Draft at 8pm MTN. The Lottery is held over Zoom (Zoom link will always be sent in the WhatsApp Group) and determines Draft Order, new divisions for the upcoming season, and we'll vote on rule changes.
You must be present at the Lottery in order to have a vote on the Rule Changes. Each team gets 1 vote on all issues.
PAYMENTS AND FEES
League Dues are $225 and are due BEFORE THE SEASON BEGINS
The team with the high score at the end of each week will earn a $100 prize
If league dues are not paid, the team(s) that have not paid will NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE WEEKLY HIGH SCORE OF $100 UNTIL THE TEAM IS PAID IN FULL
If your team does not pay the league dues IN FULL, by the end of the regular season, your team will be ineligible for the playoffs and will forfeit the opportunity to play in the postseason.
If any team who has not paid in full by the regular season and is disqualified from postseason play DOES NOT PAY IN FULL by the END OF THE PLAYOFFS, that team will be removed from the league.
KEEPERS
Every season, each team will get to keep 2 keepers on their team (1 offense and 1 defense)
If a keeper is selected for multiple years in a row, a “keeper penalty” will be assessed to that player
Keeper Rules Over Several Years:
You may keep any player RISK FREE (no picks given up) if they were not kept the previous year
If a player is being “kept” for the 2nd year in a row (REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THEY WERE YOUR KEEPER OR ANOTHER TEAMS KEEPER) they will be assessed the following penalties:
Offensive player – 7thround pick
Defensive player – 8thround pick
If a player is being “kept” for the 3rd year in a row (REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THEY WERE YOUR KEEPER OR ANOTHER TEAMS KEEPER) they will be assessed the following penalties:
Offensive player – 5thround pick
Defensive player – 6thround pick
If a player is being “kept” for the 4th year in a row (REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THEY WERE YOUR KEEPER OR ANOTHER TEAMS KEEPER) they will be assessed the following penalties:
Offensive player – 3rdround pick
Defensive player – 4thround pick
If a player is being “kept” for the 5th year in a row (REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THEY WERE YOUR KEEPER OR ANOTHER TEAMS KEEPER) they will be assessed the following penalties:
Offensive player – 1stround pick
Defensive player – 2nd round pick
AFTER 5 YEARS AS A DESIGNATED KEEPER, THE PLAYER MUST ENTER BACK INTO THE DRAFT
TRADES
To execute a trade, create a 3-way text group including the 2 teams involved in the trade as well as the commissioner.
One team state the terms of the trade over text.
The other team confirms the trade details
The commissioner confirms the trade
Only after all 3 of these steps have taken place are trades considered finalized
You may trade any draft picks you have (or have acquired) UP TO 2 YEARS IN THE FUTURE
i.e.: If it’s the 2024 season, you may trade draft picks for the 2025 draft, the 2026 draft, but NOT the 2027 draft.
"CHAMBERS RULE"
Each team is responsible for having every position of their lineup filled out by kickoff of each specific players game. If you are unable to get a full lineup set for any given game, there is no warning and the team without a roster spot will automatically forfeit a 10th round pick the following season. The pick penalties increase by 1 round each time this occurs.
If there is a situation where a team believes a player will play, and for any given reason, the player does NOT play, this will come down to a commissioner judgement (refer to Rule #1).
TIEBREAKER SCENARIOS (for regular season)
-There are no regular season tiebreakers.
-For in-season rankings and playoff seeding, strength of WINS advances when there are ties
I.E.:
7-6-1 advances over 7-7
7-7 advances over 6-6-2
7-5-2 advances over 7-6-1

Playoff Rules
Division Winners earn a 1stround BYE (week 15)
2 teams will earn a Wild Card slot
1st Wild Card Slot is the BEST OVERALL RECORD (Outside Division Winners)
2nd Wild Card Slot is TOTAL OVERALL POINTS SCORED

4) total points scored in all 6 division games

3+ team Wild Card tiebreaker for *1st* Wild Card slot:
